Free & Open to the Public!
Join us weekly via Zoom to get productive for 90-min with some online accountability from fellow brave souls!
How It Works: Each gathering starts with a quick time to share and check-in with individual objectives for our time together. Then we stay on the call, but turn off our video and audio to get stuff done. We'll then check-in occasionally to stay accountable to our productivity!
Weekly on Thursdays
12:30 pm Eastern / 11:30 am Central / 9:30 am Pacific
Bravery is not a "spectator sport."
Masterclasses taught by Emily Ann Peterson are an excellent way for our students enrolled at the CORE and VIP levels to receive new skills, communal support, and "hot seat" group coaching. These live events are centered around our monthly bravery ingredient and hosted online via Zoom. Questions can be submitted in advance via Office Hours in our Slack group. Masterclass replays are uploaded shortly after each event for those who cannot attend live.
A fresh batch of masterclass replays from the annual archives is also released every month. Students are encouraged to use these as a refresher for bravery building or a binge-worthy deep dive into new layers of courage.
Twice Monthly on 2nd Tuesdays at 1 pm Central & 4th Mondays at 11 am Central
Bravery is not a solo expedition.
Office Hours are your opportunity to get the weekly support you need for your bravery. Most of our students use this day of the week to get additional coaching from Emily Ann — relationship bravery, career questions, marketing conundrums, creative quandaries, or anything else that may come up!
Some of our students also use these office hours to ping career, business, or marketing questions off of each other. Some students even use this time to share exciting strides of bravery and celebrate the high moments! This time is for you, use it wisely!
Weekly in our Slack group on Wednesdays
Anti-Hustle Book Club
Weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm CST
Bravery is doing things differently. Our society expects increasingly high amounts of productivity and hustle. Your industry colleagues might preach about the rewards from hard work. You might feel worthless if you're not "doing something". But that's a sure-fire highway to burn-out, overwhelm, overwork, and generally frazzled.
This book circle is for anyone who wants to learn how to rest, recoup, and reboot endurance! We believe that resilience, ease, and flow are the ultimate forms of activism and resistance. The goal is to gather to nourish, guide, and rejuvenate our brave resistance to a world that demands more from us every day.
Our Next Book: How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy by Jenny Odell (artist, writer & teacher at Stanford)
Anti-Racism Book Circle
Monthly on the 3rd Thursdays at 10 am CST
Bravery is ending systemic racism. Our monthly book circle exists to: hold each other accountable to the work of anti-racism, listen to our unique perspectives, and change racism starting from within ourselves first. Due to the sensitive nature of our discussions, we require new members to email us for an invitation. 100% of this book club's membership fees go to a non-profit working to end systemic racism and/or provide accessible mental health care to black women and girls.
Our next books: This month, we're finishing up reading Fearing The Black Body: The Racial Origins of Fat Phobia by Sabrina Strings, PhD.
Courageous Creatives Book Club
Weekly on Wednesdays at 10 am CST
Bravery is expanding freedom of expression. This group of like-minded creatives meets weekly to discuss their creative careers, the practicalities of making money with art, and the bravery of putting yourself out there as an artist in any form or industry.
In addition to the weekly chapter discussions, attendees receive group coaching and career guidance by Emily Ann Peterson, songwriter & author of bestselling Bare Naked Bravery: How to Be Creatively Courageous.
