So much love to share!
I joined The School of Bravery after Emily Ann gave me a website audit and I was so excited, inspired and motivated that it was really a no-brainer.
I enjoy the format of the masterclasses and the opportunities to be interactive. But the bookclub was a probably my favourite because I'm an author and love books, and I enjoyed getting other perspectives on the readings and activities. I've discovered a whole new creative outlet from the bookclub!
Doing brave things is easier now because I can recognize when I'm procrastinating, resisting or just plan scared.

Emily Ann is a straight-talker with a smile.
Finding your voice is not an easy thing. Self-promotion is even stickier. Put the two together and, if you’re like me, you’ve created the perfect storm of overwhelm. Emily has rock-solid understanding of all things self-promotion, as well as an uncanny ability to break down even the most intimidating hurdles into manageable action items. Thirty minutes with Emily Ann literally turned months of disheartened procrastination regarding my own website on its heels.
When Emily Ann heard my excuses and then said “Let’s just get this done! I knew I was out of the woods! If I am working with someone, I don’t want to just get sweet talked. I want someone who is insightful AND unflinchingly honest, even if it means calling me out on my own self-sabotage - whether it’s denial, procrastination or emotional roadblocks.
I know that I can count on Emily Ann to tell it to me straight. And usually she smiles while she does this, which of course means I don’t even catch on at first to how she is totally calling me out. I love this. This makes me get to the heart of the matter so much more quickly, whether it’s honing in on the goals of a project or trying hard to see something through to the end. If I need a hand zeroing in on a goal or needing a plan as to how to break down a project into manageable action items, I call Emily Ann.

Emily Ann, you’re amazing! I learned so much and have literally wasted thousands and thousands on other online courses which made so many promises that were not kept. I learned more truly impactful ways to improve my business in an hour with you than I have with others over the course of several months!
You know your stuff inside and out and provide a truly customized experience with a business owner’s specific needs. I came away with ideas to tweak what I’m doing that will have a financial impact on my business. Emily Ann is easy and fun to talk to all while getting straight down to business!

Heyo! Well the site had its first round of updates - and it feels SO MUCH CLEANER! I haven’t actually overhauled this site since 2012. I was able to streamline and organize my website to turn visitors into customers. I never felt overwhelmed or like the changes suggested were not realistic.
Emily Ann has an amazing knack for helping people turn their website from a placeholder to a functioning tool for an indie businessperson. She not only got me to change my site, she got me to change my thinking around what I was offering people and helped me see value in things I could offer that I take for granted.
Thank you so much for the jumpstart on this.
— Cindy Emchy, singer-songwriter
Emily Ann is a breath of fresh air and is always full of new ideas. She is multifaceted when it comes to her talents. I believe her magic formula is that she is a musician and a songwriter.
Emily Ann knows how to craft her message through her music and her creativity and then transform it to a marketing plan or a brand. Those talents are extremely helpful when it comes to creating your brand, copy or content for your audience. Not only is she creative but she is also able to look at your business and help you become very systematized which helps your clients’ user experience.
Emily Ann has helped me tremendously when it comes to presenting my message in a very clear and concise way that my audience will understand, in a way that they like and they want to come back. I know that my brand would not be consistent throughout all the areas of my business if it was not for Emily Ann’s unique eye. I am grateful for her talents and of course our time together.

I didn’t expect to have so many pieces of the puzzle come together in the small hour we spent together! I have a lot of balls that I was juggling [in my business] and didn’t know how they all fit together.
After our call, all the pieces just clicked!

Bravery has many faces. It peeks out from under the covers of circumstances and wants to be seen, but fear chokes out our brave parts. Fear grabs us by the heart and mind and tells us lies that are easily believed. It’s a blanket that wraps itself around us and holds on tightly. Fear won’t let bravery shine.
Sometimes we need help to pull away the covering of fear and find the courage to be brave and sometimes that help is a person: Emily Ann is that one.
Bravery begins one step at a time. As it’s given the soil of courage and understanding, bravery blooms inside us and becomes large enough to walk under. I needed help to do that, and if you do too, this is the place to start. You can discover the gift hiding inside you just waiting to be uncovered.
Bravery can be learned. Here’s a chance to discover how.

Once I pushed through my own resistance to holding on to my precious website copy, I realized the benefit of Emily Ann’s advice for brevity and power-packed content. I was able to quickly adopt and adapt her advice and I love the results! Emily’s style is friendly, warm, personal, and supportive. She’s “been there, done that” and revels along the way.

As a songwriter, fundraising an album on Kickstarter is a brave thing.... but in less than 15 minutes Emily Ann made me realize why consultants exist!
She reviewed the pre-launch of my Kickstarter page, explained what worked and why, and constructively helped me rearrange, reword, and prioritize my content and layout, all the while explaining in an encouraging and clear manner.
Working with Emily Ann exceeded my expectations and beyond. She not only improved my project tenfold, but made me excited and confident before the launch. It’s been incredibly helpful to have her expertise, support, and valuable feedback!
— Mia Rose Lynn, songwriter & actress
Being in the music/entrepreneurial space myself, it’s sometimes easy to have reservations with coaching sessions. But to sit down with Emily, there’s no need.
She has a focused yet graceful way of getting straight to the point, fluff not included. Offering value catered exclusively to me and my personal needs, we deciphered my mission, constructed a plan, and found actionable baby-steps for me to take - all within an hour session.
Emily Ann Peterson is the real deal.
